Life-threatening case of a cat urinary tract infection

Ajju, a Noida community cat, struggled to pass urine for a few days and was presented at Pasha Wing in critical condition and was initially diagnosed with a cat urinary tract infection

He was immediately stabilized by the CGS team and admitted for further diagnosis and treatment. Ajju underwent a Perineal Urethrostomy surgery (which is a major surgery to open a wide portion of the urethra and create a new permanent opening for urine outflow).

Intensive care and treatment were provided to Ajju Post-operatively by the CGS Hospital team to ensure he heals well. Ajju is Recovering well, He is pain-free and happy to be at his community area. We appreciate the care and dedication of Ajju’s caretaker.
