Meet Naina, a brave feline who faced the ultimate battle for survival. After a routine ovariohysterectomy (OHE) turned into a nightmare with complications, Naina developed an abdominal hernia, which eventually led to evisceration. Despite multiple surgeries, the hernia persisted, and when Naina arrived at CGS Hospital, she was in septicaemic shock and had stopped eating.
But we didn’t give up on her. A thorough examination revealed a second, critical diaphragmatic hernia. With a dedicated surgical team and immense hope, we performed a delicate dual surgery to repair both hernias in one go.
Naina’s recovery was nothing short of miraculous. After the surgery, her appetite returned, her strength grew, and she began to heal. Today, she’s thriving—her resilience inspiring everyone at CGS Hospital.
